About Ruth Garnes Creative:
At Rahtimes, we believe in the transformative power of creative expression. Founded by **Ruth Andrews Garnes**, our mission is to inspire resilience through poetry, music, and storytelling—using art as a tool for reflection, healing, and personal growth.
Through motivational poetry books, we aim to empower and enlighten, offering narratives that encourage self-discovery and strength in the face of adversity. As part of this mission, we recognize that people with disabilities are at higher risk of abuse. Educational programs play a crucial role in breaking cycles of silence and shame, and Rahtimes is committed to informing and teaching about the signs of abuse and its effects through inspirational stories and motivational poetry.
By combining creative elements, Rahtimes fosters a space where voices can be heard, stories can be shared, and hope can be restored—ensuring that empowerment through art reaches those who need it most.
Our Creative Vision
Our work resonates with those seeking growth and recovery. We produce stories of resilience that offer insight and understanding. Through songs of strength, we connect with a universal desire for hope and renewal.
Healing Through Creativity:
Ruth Garnes Creative sees art as a source of faith healing. Our songs and reflections encourage a journey toward healing through creativity. Let the rhythms and melodies be your guide to a more profound sense of self and the world around you.
*Triumph Before the Dawn*
With burdened limbs, I strike life’s pavement,
Each step a battle, weighted by unseen chains.
Feet rooted in beliefs that bind me,
I wrestle within Grace’s time, finding unsteady ground as tsunamis rise to drown me.
My thoughts reel
Wounds from words, echoes of gas-lighters flickering,
Distorting truth, warping reality.
When the past repeats, I spiral.
Hearing the disapprovals,
I refuse to crumble beneath the unseeing.
Dragged beneath society’s relentless currents, a ride long and twisted,
I hold my ground—defiant and unshaken.
The tide refuses to retreat.
Its waves etched injustice deep into the world’s fabric,
I remain—wading, walking, rising.
Grasping tightly to pieces of hope.
Not mere remnants, but glowing embers.
I ache, I break, yet creativity becomes my refuge.
Struggling beneath the weight of unpacked burdens,
Longing to move forward, guided by reflection.
Held by life, stretched thin, shaped by demands, carved by shared pain.
Yet still, I stand.
I envisioned greater heights. A place where I stand unbowed,
Where my feet quicken, the air is light; songs of strength ring out.
I crave that world
Not just the promise of heaven, but here and now, where it is long deserved.
